LONG-TERM PROGRAM

The Long-Term Program usually runs for 6 or 12 months. This is our primary program, and in terms of being able to fully submerge into another culture, the Long-Term Program is the way to go. This is where you truly make an impact on the community you're volunteering in, and also where the impacts made on you can be completely life-changing.

We'd love every young Kiwi and Aussie to experience a Long-Term placement abroad. It honestly can be one of the most memorable things you'll do in your life.

To try and make that happen for you, we have some of the lowest program fees for any international program that you'll find. These program fees cover things like your training, your food, board, accommodation, and more. See below for what the Long-Term Program is all about!

TIME FRAMES

Our Long-Term Program has two departure groups each year, being January/February and July/August. We take applications throughout the year.

WHAT DOES THAT LEAVE?

The only things to consider outside of your Program Fees not included above are your international flights (we help you find the best deal, and you're open to choose the best deal for you. Beware of other organisations who insist on booking your flights and clipping the ticket along the way!) There may also be visa costs and vaccinations to consider, although this will be dependent on your country of destination. If you would also like to organise extra travel insurance for personal effects (think theft - it does happen) then you are free to organise this yourself. The insurance that's included in your program fee is for medical and third party liability but doesn't include personal items.

PROGRAM FEES

Our program fees are some of the lowest you'll find for an international year abroad like this - especially considering everything you get!

For as little as $16 NZD per day - that's just $112 per week - you can be having an incredible cultural exchange abroad!

Get in touch to see what program fees are relatable for each country and program.
