AKWAABA!
Be prepared to come alive as a volunteer in one of Africa’s most vibrant countries, known for lively festivals, hospitality and incredible energy. Ghana is home to people from a vast array of backgrounds, with more than 250 languages being spoken across the country. Immerse yourself in this tropical climate and soak up the natural beauty from sandy coasts to dense rainforests. Ghana has a rich history with cocoa exporting, diamonds, gold and slave trade dating back to the 15th century. As a volunteer in Ghana, you’ll have the chance to throw yourself in this vibrant culture. You can teach Ghana’s future leaders through school programs, build much-needed relationships with youth through orphanage partnerships, or help heal as part of our medical centre or rural health care teams.
