Embarking on a transformative journey to Nepal, the birthplace of Buddha, offers an incredible opportunity for cultural immersion and spiritual fulfillment through volunteering. Engage with young Buddhist monks and teach them English. Proficiency in English becomes a vital tool for translating religious texts and bridging the teachings of Buddhism with the global community.

Volunteer's Role and Tasks:

As a volunteer, you will plan and deliver effective English Language lessons through engaging and interactive learning experiences. You will work with other educators and support staff in the main stream education so collaboration is needed.

Share your culture through stories, games, art, etc. Arts and crafts should be one of the main teaching methods for English, coming prepared with a creative mind is a positive. You will be in charge of managing the class, so strong classroom management is need.

Foster a safe and supportive learning environment where the Buddhist monks enjoy learning and feel safe. 

Note: this is a Short Term Program (4-12 weeks)
